Old And New Together

Today it's a wedding card created for my Niece and her now new husband. I CASed it from a video Wendy Krause has on Utube using different colours and ribbon.  Then did the inside slightly different and made a little pouch for the present.  They are now in Orlando for their honeymoon as they are both crazy about Disney.  Hope they have a fantastic time there.

Sorry about the fact a lot of it is retired stock now but I'm sure you could substitute the old for new and make it slightly different.

Unfortunately I missed the inside of the front part of the card and that is where to the left of the sentiment I have placed to small hearts from the Itty Bitty Accents punch set.

Sunshine Wishes meets a little Flourish

Sunshine Wishes with a Flourish

I enjoyed making this card, tried some block watercoloring and thought it went quite well, teamed this up with the Sunshine Wishes thinlits and a bit of playful backgrounds, then finished with the Happy Birthday.  Felt it needed a little more so gave it a bit of a background using the Flourish thinlits and DSP. Just hope my Aunt liked it.

I'm keeping out of the way at the moment as there are workmen in and I no longer have a kitchen, yippee no cooking for at least 2 weeks, heaven!!!

Hoping to make a good start on my Christmas cards, just waiting for Mr Ups to arrive on Thursday, will do a couple of birthday cards in the mean time, when I'm not out to lunch that is.
