Birthday Blooms

Soft and Beautiful

I enjoyed making this card, it was so simple and came together quickly. Considering when I came into the craft room I had no idea what I was going to do.

I'm still trying to use up some of my retired goodies and thought the doily could be quite easily replaced with the current doilies in this years catalogue.  There a loads of happy birthday stamps but I just love this one so keep going back to it.

The flourish thinlits are fantastic,I just love the open leaf effect.  And the triple banner punch is great if you are not good at fishtailing (which I'm not).

Hope you like this card and it's a good one for beginners to start with as there is plenty to do but none of it is hard.

The materials used are:

Card stock: Very Vanilla
Ink: Sweet Sugarplum
DSP: In color stack
Stamp sets: Bloomin’ Love, Birthday Blooms, Create A Cupcake (retired)
Punches: Triple Banner
Framelits: Bunch Of Banners
Thinlits: Bloomin’ Heart, Flourish
Accessories: Delicate White Doilies (retired), Rhinestones, Scoreboard

Will be back again soon with more cards

Love Annette x

Bloomin' Heart Butterfly

From Heart to Butterfly with love

My sister is not very well at the moment and I thought I would make her a something different to what I usually do for her this year, even though due to her being unwell she didn't get it on time as on her birthday she wasn't up to seeing anyone.  So she got it a few days late along with a bottle of Bailey's that always goes down well.

I had been with my lovely up line Peg, not long before making the card and we made a card like this one and so I tried it again at home and I must admit my sister really liked it.

Been really busy of late and so not blogging as often as I'd like but will try and get back into it I have a lot of cards to put up it's just finding the time to do it.

Take care and hope you have a lovely day.

The materials used are:
Inks: So Saffron, Wild Wasabi
Card stock: Glitter (NSU), Shimmery White
Card base: NSU
Stamps: Creative Elements (retired), Sassy Salutations

Added a creative element stamp to give the butterfly a bit of depth as I felt it needed a little something behind it. Card CASed from my lovely up line Peg, thank you for all your inspiration.
